I went to Alison’s baby and first aid class as I have a new born and was a very anxious new parent. Alison is so warm and welcoming and is very natural in the way she teaches. It was very informative and was good that we could also practice on the dummy’s to know what to do in that situation. I would highly recommend this class to new parents, expecting parents or anyone around babies and children in general. I feel a lot more confident now and that’s definitely down to Alison and the class.
Excellent class - really worth doing
We attended a first aid class yesterday evening run by Alison. We found Alison to be incredibly warm and welcoming, well prepared, and very knowledgeable. The class itself was very much worth the money. I definitely would not have known what to do in an emergency but now I feel like I could do something, rather than just panic! It was a good balance of information being presented and practical learning, i.e. practicing on the dummies. The information covered was relevant and important. We covered more serious situations, like resuscitation and sepsis, to things that could be managed at home, like a superficial burn, and how to distinguish between a situation where you can manage it at home vs seeking medical help and which service is most appropriate. We also covered how to prevent a lot of these situations from occurring. A lot of what we learned would also be applicable to an adult so it’s really good information to know in case you ever need to use it.
The venue itself is clean, warm and inviting with parking, and Alison provided lots of lovely drinks and the tastiest homemade millionaires shortbread I’ve ever tried! I think everyone should take a class like this as it’s so important. Thank you so much Alison – we are really grateful and feel much more confident should we need to use those skills in future.
Exceptional antenatal classes!
The one thing any local parent seems to be united on around Oundle is that antenatal classes with Little Seeds are the best investment you can make during pregnancy – and I can now see why. Alison is engaging, informative refreshingly down to earth, and has a natural ability to put any nervous expectant parent at ease. The classes are tailored to individual concerns, there is ample support outside of the sessions, and I actually feel excited about our twins arriving now as opposed to just daunted! I can’t recommend the experience enough. Thanks so much Alison, you are a gem and we are all lucky to have you!
Get yourself booked!
Alison is amazing and so so informative, her advice was a help to both myself and my husband and really made us feel at ease about welcoming bump into the world! We cannot recommend her enough!
We can’t recommend enough!
As first time parents to be, we wanted to learn as much as possible and were recommended to Little Seeds by a family member. We are so glad we booked on! The classes were informative on everything pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. Alison is brilliant- so knowledgeable, open and positive. Becoming a new parent can be a scary thought but we definitely feel more prepared and confident as a result of our classes. Thanks to Alison for such a great experience!
Fantastic and supportive
We loved our antenatal classes at Little Seeds. Alison was knowledgeable, kind and supportive and it was great to meet other pregnant people from Oundle and nearby. We learned about labour and birth, breast feeding, safe sleeping and the first few months of the baby. Alison also provided delicious cakes each week and even a vegan option for me in addition to non vegan!! She also answered my extra questions via email. Would recommend! Xx
Amazing antenatal - definitely recommend
We were recommended Little Seeds by a relative and I’m so pleased we booked with Alison for the antenatal classes. Not only were the classes incredibly insightful, full of knowledge and super laid back, but Alison has also been a massive support on a personal level. I cannot recommend these classes enough, my partner and I came away feeling excited and armed with the tools and knowledge to take on our adventure as first time parents. The venue was lovely and very calming, Alison looked after us very well keeping us refreshed and it was a great way to meet other expecting parents. 10/10 recommendation and I already miss the classes!
I had a 75 minute Swedish full body massage with Alison and it was absolutely amazing! Such a restful and relaxing experience. Very thorough treatment with a great choice of oils – I had the eucalyptus oil which smelled fantastic! Can’t recommend Alison highly enough!!
Passionate, Knowledgeable and Experienced
As first-time expecting parents, it was such a great experience to attend the antenatal classes run by Alison.
There is a wide range of information out there, and as new parents it may seem overwhelming, but having attended Alison’s classes, we felt comforted, and learnt so much on the many topics that were discussed. The classes were relaxing and you feel comfortable in asking any questions.
Alison is fun, kind, passionate and experienced, and this is evident in the classes.
We highly recommend Little Seeds and Alison.
Thank you for helping us prepare for our little one.
Indian Head Massage
After a busy, stressful week it was so lovely to have some me-time. Alison was warm and welcoming and put me at ease immediately. It was the first time I had had an Indian Head Massage so Alison told me what to expect and asked me questions to make sure it would be suitable for me. My massage took around 20 minutes. It was wonderfully relaxing; the tension I had been feeling in my neck quickly disappeared, my heart rate lowered and I felt completely de-stressed, yet energised. If you’ve always wondered what a head massage would be like try one yourself or gift one to someone you love. Highly recommended.
I always knew I wanted to attend an antenatal class, as there was so much, I didn’t know, however it wasn’t something I have openly mentioned to my husband. So, when I explained what I had signed us up for, he was very sceptical about it all. Littleseed was recommended to me by another mum who had previously attended Alisons sessions, and I am so glad I listened. Firstly, we were able to have face to face session which I felt was great and Alison made us feel so welcome in her home (the home-made cakes were just an added bonus!) Alisons nature allowed us to feel extremely comfortable discussing all things baby, pregnancy and birthing – that even my husband walked away saying how much he enjoyed it all and how useful it had been….It definitely opened up his eyes.
I would highly recommend the classes with Alison, we learnt so much from the classes and continue to learn more and more with all the information Alison provides for you to take away after each session. Thank you so much Alison, we are a lot more prepared to welcome our lil boy into the world
Amazing care....prenatal to postnatal!
From the recommendation of our community midwife, we booked Alison for the Little Seeds antenatal classes. They were online due to covid restrictions but we didn’t feel like that meant we missed out on anything as a result. Alison’s advice and the sessions were so informative. I really felt I could make informed decisions and was as prepared for birth as I could be (being a first time mummy!)
Leading up to the birth I became increasingly worried about how little support I might get with ongoing covid restrictions, even family wouldn’t be around to help. That’s when we decided to ask Alison to visit us for the postnatal care package; a decision I’m so glad we made! I can’t begin to describe how invaluable Alison’s support was. My baby decided to make an early appearance and after our week in hospital, Alison visited us at home. She was very thorough and supportive in all aspects from checking weight and jaundice, feeding advice, bathing and also my own health. Alison really cares for the mummies and babies she looks after and her reassurance was also exactly what I needed in those early days. Thank you so much Alison, you make such a difference to the people you care for. I would always recommend your services….1000%!!
Postnatal Care Package Second to None
We don’t even know where to start to express how invaluable we found Alison’s complete postnatal care package. Having our first baby in a pandemic obviously wasn’t what we had planned, and the thought of reduced contact with our support network for reassurance was a real worry. We had previously attended the Little Seeds antenatal classes and when we learnt about the postnatal care Alison offered for us it was a no-brainer.
Alison visited us the day after we were discharged from hospital and did a full check on both myself and my daughter, along with supporting us with several breast-feeding techniques that would be more suited to our recovery. Throughout the rest of the period that Alison looked after us she helped us with a range of skills, such as bathing and feeding our daughter, expressing and bottle feeds. Every time she visited us Alison was able to provide reassurance that everything was going well and we truly found having the same person return to care for us made so much difference. In addition Alison carried out the necessary medical checks such as the heel prick test, weighing and when necessary she ensured we had an appointment with the doctor.
Alison went above and beyond throughout those early weeks, ensuring we were all cared for physically and emotionally. Alison is such a caring, wonderful person and we cannot be more thankful for the care we received. Nothing was too much trouble and Alison always supported us fully, even taking the time to research someone who could help with my specific recovery for the months to come.
We believe that the confidence we have now is due to Alison’s support and has provided the best possible start for our daughter. We cannot thank Alison enough for all she has done for us and are so pleased we were under her care. We could not recommend Alison’s postnatal package enough.
Virtual Antenatal Success
All of our classes were conducted online due to the restrictions during the 1st lockdown of 2020. Prior to the sessions beginning we were slightly concerned that the lack of face to face contact would have an impact on our overall experience, but we soon realised that we had nothing to worry about.
Alison’s friendly, professional and knowledgeable approach quickly put us at ease and what followed was a series of classes where we learned a lot of really helpful, practical information about childbirth and the early months of parenthood. No detail was too small and no question was too stupid.
Alison offers clear and considered guidance based on her many years of experience. We thoroughly recommend these classes to any expectant parents.
Amazing and invaluable postnatal care
Alison provided outstanding postnatal care to us, following the antenatal classes we attended in the autumn through Little Seeds. This was the perfect solution for us. We had already built up our rapport and friendship with Alison through the Little Seeds antenatal classes, and not having family in the immediate area meant we were really grateful for having a knowledgable, kind and friendly face to turn to. Alison’s services were invaluable in the early weeks following the birth of our daughter. Whether it be friendly and supportive texts to helping on the phone or in person, her guidance and support for two new parents really was priceless. You can read all the books and watch all the videos you want, but the ability of an expert professional to provide bespoke guidance specifically to your child and family is worth its weight in gold. Having one person providing that continuity of support is precious: the NHS is wonderful, but working with a team of NHS individuals is different to the continued one-to-one support Alison can provide with her greater continuity of care. Alison is always there for you, and always takes the necessary time to support you fully. Both before and after the birth of our child, Alison has had the single biggest influence on us as a new family. Thank you Alison: we will never be able to fully articulate our gratitude. We recommend Alison’s pre and post natal services absolutely, completely and wholeheartedly, and now class Alison as a family friend of ours for the years to come.
Amazing experience for me and my partner
As two people who have no family close by we felt so reassured and comforted by all the advice Alison provided. We came away from every session more knowledgeable and confident as first time parents, and also so excited for the next session. We couldn’t recommend Alison enough- informative, caring, warm, friendly with the ability to pass on her vast information in an effective and fun way. Having other friends who didn’t have this same experience I really hope more women use Little Seeds to feel how we did after the sessions 🙂 xx
A wonderful four week course
We had a wonderful four week course with Alison ahead of our delivery date. Alison is friendly, informed, highly knowledgeable, kind and caring. Our classes were held socially distanced but in person with an absolute priority on and commitment to safety at this time. The Little Seeds classes take you through all the steps of the later stages of pregnancy. The classes were open and encouraging: all questions are welcomed and provide really useful planning points – e.g. how do you wash a new born baby?! We are really grateful to have learnt from Alison and feel better equipped for the stages ahead. We’ve also really enjoyed getting to know other couples in our class, and the convivial and supportive group dynamic will be really important in the months to come. The cakes served midway through each session were absolutely delicious too! Thank you Alison! Sean Reid
Brilliant Antenatal Classes
We cannot recommend Little Seeds Antenatal classes enough! Alison was such a welcoming host and put us at ease straight away. The classes were so informative and we went away each week feeling more and more confident about what to expect over the coming weeks and months as we become parents. Alison went above and beyond, especially given the current situation to ensure our experience of antenatal classes was still so positive and was always available to answer any questions outside of the classes.
Not only have we learnt so much, we have also met some lovely local parents and formed such a good support network.
We are so pleased we found Little Seeds.
Highly informative Antenatal Classes
Alison and Little Seeds were recommended to us by so many different sources it seemed like a no-brainier to go down this route and we are so very pleased that we did.
We have taken away useful guidance around pre-birth, the labour itself, right through to hints and tips after baby is born. This came in the form of Face-to-face sessions which then moved to online (due to covid-19) and were accompanied by very useful literature.
A great group of couples all expecting in a similar time frame able to support and learn from one another through useful questioning and open discussion.
Feel much more confident about giving birth now! Thank you Alison.
Good luck new Mums and Dads.
March 2020 Little Seeds course
Alisons classes were fantastic and very informative. A great opportunity to meet others in the same situation and Alison was incredibly knowledgable. Our sessions were also interrupted by the corona virus lockdown meaning they had to move online for the last two sessions. Alison managed this incredibly well and I would not hesitate to refer others to these sessions. Alison was also very generous with her time outside the classes which we really appreciated!

A Very Big Thank You
A huge “thank you” to Emma for this feedback which I received, following the birth of baby Lola this month.
“We wanted to start our review/feedback off by saying a huge thank you. We had expected the Little Seeds Antenatal classes would provide us with knowledge, but we didn’t anticipate that they would also fill us with confidence of the birthing experience, an understanding of the options we had available to us, and the excitement of truly working together as a couple to bring our baby into the world.
You facilitated the classes in such a relaxed, calm and safe environment, it felt no question was silly, and we really looked forward to the classes each week. Your passion for your job really shone through in the classes and reassured us that midwives have such a wonderful compassion for the couples they are caring for.
We left the classes each week excited with what we’d learnt and been shown, and the notes you provided were really helpful for us to recap on in our own time.
I particularly really liked the fact you explained what, physically, would be happening to my body to trigger certain feelings/actions, and what that was contributing to the birth and after birth process. I feel that understanding what is happening helps to calm any anxiety I feel, so that was a huge reassurance for me.
We appreciated that you gave us all the information, to allow us to make informed decisions regarding pain relief, feeding, bathing and sleeping, but did not impose your own opinion on us at all or pass any judgement on the different options.
The follow-on class of “Giving Birth without Fear” we were curious about what it would provide us with above what we’d already learnt from you.
That class I honestly feel made the biggest difference to my labour. A lot of the techniques and theories you discussed and practiced with us were similar to the techniques I’d learnt in yoga, however you added context, and examples that made them realistic to how we could use them. The way you included our partners made Rich feel completely involved and gave him a purpose and a real role he could play once labour commenced. This aided in him feeling excited about the upcoming labour, and I remember leaving that class and saying to Rich “We are going to do this together aren’t we”. That for me made me feel like I wasn’t going to be delivering this baby on my own, or even by myself with Rich by my side, but he was truly going to be delivering this baby with me!!
I practiced the pain management techniques you taught at times where I had leg cramps etc, to practice relaxing and welcoming pain, and these practice times really helped to prove to myself that these tips worked!
In early labour I put the techniques we had learnt from you into practice and this allowed Rich to get some much-needed sleep before the impending birth, and I felt I could manage the contractions myself until they became closer together. The whole time the contractions were progressing, I could hear your voice telling me to relax through the contractions, and rest in between, and it honestly felt empowering. I knew what was happening to my body, and that I was doing the right thing in that moment.
Once we were getting 3 contractions in 10 minutes we went back to the hospital. It was then realised the baby was breech. We were explained our options and elected for a section as this sounded lowest risk. We didn’t have time for any pain relief until the spinal block went in, and I thank god for the pain management techniques during that period! I never felt “I can’t do this” which I’m sure I would have done if we hadn’t learnt what we had. Rich was fabulous during all of this, and he felt confident in how he could support me and truly be of help!
Lola came into the world very calmly (she didn’t cry when she first came out), and Rich and I, although nervous as we were in surgery, felt relaxed and in control.
So, to summarise, we had planned and prepared for a full natural labour, using as minimal pain relief as possible, and had a very different labour. But what I wanted to say was how amazingly beneficial everything we’d learnt in your courses still was to our experience.
We are now embracing our entirely new life and Lola is getting on brilliantly with feeding.
We want to thank you for the information you shared during the classes, but also your passion for your work, and the caring and loving way you delivered the courses. It made us feel special, empowered, calm and confident that we didn’t need to fear the birth, but instead really look forward to it.
Thank you again, we are so glad we met you!

Fantastic scope of information, expertly delivered!
I learned so much from Alison at Little Seeds. Her antenatal course is reassuring and enlightening, filled with valuable information, as well as kind, supportive wisdom. The antenatal classes made such a tremendous difference to my whole pregnancy and outlook. I went into my birth excited and prepared and, once I got my baby home, I often thought back to our course and drew on what we’d learned. I feel so lucky to have found you, thank you Alison!
Intuitive and Calming
Initially unsure what to expect, but this was soon forgotten. Alison provides a calming learning experience for all. Both me & my husband attended the September 2019 Course and felt we were a lot more prepared for labour & our new baby. Handouts were extensive, providing additional reading & Alison provided amazing cakes including a Chocolate Guinness Cake to die for.. Thank you (& Susie,) so much for your guidance & advice.

Worth every penny!
When Little Seeds was recommended to me by my midwife I hesitated at first as there are free workshops available through the NHS but the classes turned out to be worth every penny.
Alison draws on her many years’ experience as a midwife to make each class packed with useful information and tips – and great props.
There’s also time to socialise with other couples over a cup of tea and cake (homemade by Alison. I think my husband would go again for the cakes alone!)
Alison is friendly and approachable and takes time to answer any questions or concerns. I was going through a difficult time during the course owing to a family bereavement and both Alison and Susie were very supportive.
This has continued well beyond the course. In fact, I saw Alison just a few days before my baby was born prematurely. Once again, she helped me when I was struggling. I now consider Alison a friend, not just a course leader.
We attended Alison’s antenatal classes over the last 4 weeks, we found them very useful and informative. To top that off, Alison and Susie were amazing hosts, very friendly and always took the time to answer any questions during and after each class. It was lovely to meet you both and all the other expectant parents. Thanks for the experience, it has definitely opened my eyes to the wonderful journey of labour and parenthood. Highly recommended. Thank you.
An amazing learning experience
An amazing learning experience
Everything we wanted to learn...
We found the breakdown of the different phases of labour and how to cope in each stage really helpful. We love the angle you take and the view you have on birth. After the first session we immediately felt less scared and more relaxed at the thought of birth. It was great and really helpful to get a full understanding of how medications available in labour can impact you and baby, particularly those that can affect breastfeeding. The session on newborn feeding was very helpful, encouraging and gave us realistic expectations. We were so caught up on the birth itself that it was great in session 4 to take some time to learn about the important things for afterwards. We really enjoyed the Little Seeds antenatal course. It was reassuring to meet a midwife with such a kind, positive and peaceful outlook on birth. We found it very reassuring and informative. It was also great to meet other parents to be and we think we have all made some great friends! The surprise gift packs were unexpected and really topped off what was already and amazing experience. Thank you so much for everything
Brilliant Antenatal Classes
My husband and I attended Alison’s Antenatal classes and they were brilliant. Full of content, with extremely useful reference notes to take home. The environment was very welcoming, which was mainly down to Alison. There was no judgement (just information), honest accounts and no question was deemed ‘silly’. I would highly recommend attending these classes! Thank you Alison!
What a different experience!
I had one hypnobirthing session with Alison, along with my husband, in preparation for the birth of my second son. I’d had a medically uncomplicated, but for me pretty traumatic first birth, and this time wanted to feel positive and in control. Alison was kind, knowledgeable and full of practical tips and tools my husband and I could use – and we did! The birth experience was so different after our session with her. We were much more confident and calm, and I can look back on the experience happily, which is very different from the first time. Thank you Alison!
Be happy and prepared
Having just had my second child, what struck me was how much I missed Alison this time around. Alison is professional and amazingly informative with such a calm and caring presence! Having gone to her previous classes when she was a community midwife I came away feeling calm and really positive which I truly believe lead to a brilliant birth! I fully recommend hypno-birthing and am delighted to see Alison offers support with this too. A wonderful lady, who I know will provide only the best classes which will leave you ready for your new chapter!
My husband and I attended Alison’s Antenatal classes. We found Alison so open and friendly. She is extremely knowledgable and experienced and makes the sessions very relaxed you feel you can ask anything. Susie, who also helped out, was always so kind and friendly too. Not to mention the delicious home made cakes in the break. Highly recommend course. Thank you.
A Wonderful Experience
My partner and I undertook the hypnobirthing course with Alison in preparation for the birth of our second child. The birth of our first child had been difficult, with a long recovery period, and we felt that we wanted to be more in control/prepared for the birth of our second child. After finding out I was pregnant with our second child, along with the feelings of absolute joy, were the worries about the birth. I was pretty sure that I would opt for a C- Section this time around but our consultant was not recommending this. At this point, I felt panicked and unprepared. I wanted to do the best for our unborn child but also had to consider the needs of our 5 year old daughter. It had taken many months for me to recover after her birth and I was worried. I wanted to take the best route for everyone… but kept going around in circles as to which was the best way forward. I found out about the Mindful Mamma hypnobirthing course whilst on a mums and tots anti-natal session. Alison was recommended to me as a course provider. Alison had been my midwife for my first child and was wonderful in both pre and post delivery, and therefore I was excited about contacting her. We undertook a private course with Alison at her home, as I was 7 months pregnant and wanted to do the course as soon as possible. Alison started by taking our lead. She listened to our previous birth experience, gave us time to reflect individually and together, and gave us plenty of time to talk. This was important to us. We had never talked previously about how we felt it had gone and how we do it differently this time. We finished this session by having a really positive support plan for the birth. My partner knew exactly how he could help and what his role was during the birth. This was very empowering for both of us and made us feel strong. The next part of the course concentrated on labour and pain. Gaining an understanding of what your body is going through during labour is really helpful when trying to manage pain. Alison used props to explain contractions which was also really helpful. This understanding for me was paramount when later thinking about working my way through the contractions. The hypnotherapy part of the course was very relaxing and empowering. I did not feel out of control at any time, but felt relaxed, and was able to take away positive images and feel ready and excited for childbirth. The breathing exercises were really useful. I came away from the course feeling empowered and ready. There are breathing exercises to practise up until the birth, which I did a little, but I didn’t have much time between the course and the birth of my child. On the day of the birth of our child, I felt calm, in control and excited. I used the techniques practised and made the right choices for me and our baby. We had a really positive birthing experience and that is as a result of the preparation and support from this course and Alison’s guidance and instruction. Alison is a warm and friendly person who is passionate about helping people to have a positive birthing experience. She was even in touch by messenger whilst I was in labour to support us. I cannot recommend Alison and this course enough for anyone who is feeling anxious about childbirth or even if you just want to ensure that you are prepared for the day and to make it a really positive experience for both you and your partner. She also makes delicious cakes!! I look back on our experience as a truly wonderful day! Thank you Alison.
Alison is exceptional – so calm, cheerful, informative and hugely helpful – puts you completely at ease and always seems to have all the time in the world for you!
Informative, fun and friendly classes
My husband and I attended antenatal classes with Little Seeds after they came highly recommended by my community midwife. From the initial telephone contact with both Alison and Susie to discuss enrolling on the course I knew that the antenatal classes were for us. We found each of the four sessions informative and as first time parents they helped to relieve any apprehensions that we had. Alison is an excellent tutor, with her years of midwifery knowledge she put us at our ease and always made the classes informative, fun and entertaining. The courses also provided us with a network of parents to be in the local area which was great having recently moved to the area. We would highly recommend Little Seeds Antenatal Courses to couples considering them.

Highly recommend these amazing classes
We have truly loved the sessions. Alison has an infectious positivity that is very empowering and provides confidence in undertaking labour and the journey into parenthood. Excellent advice for both mum and birth partner. Great tips regarding physical and emotional preparation, really providing a positive mindset and alleviating fears and concerns. It was really beneficial to understand how you can help the production of the most beneficial hormones for labour and birth. Great to have an awareness of all the pain management available to make informed decisions on which methods to prioritise over others. The infant feeding week was a great honest and informative session, providing a brilliant foundation to breast feeding. The fourth session provided lots of information about immediate and subsequent after care for baby, and realistic and practical tips for the early months caring for our child to ensure their best health and safety. The delivery of the sessions is friendly and hugely informative, successfully bringing together a small community of local parents to be.

Taking the fear away from birth
We really like the approach Alison takes to labour – eliminating fear, giving confidence through evidence and making best use of our own physiology for the smoothest possible labour. Pain management options and special circumstances week: Extremely helpful to be able to ask questions about what will be available/procedures, and to have all the information printed too. Life beyond birth week: A very helpful set of practical tips for the early weeks. The classes were really well organised and benefited from all Alison and Susie’s knowledge and experience, including as parents. A wonderfully positive approach to birth.

More than just a Class
Alison is the true definition of a midwife – ‘with women’. I have the pleasure of attending her classes with both my pregnancies and I always left feeling more knowledgeable, calmer and excited about the weeks ahead. Alison has a great way of combining facts and information with a calm and nurturing delivery. Her classes were an excellent way of meeting other mums who were form my support network to this day (5 years on!) I am so excited that Alison is able to offer these classes for local mums again.
Have just completed Alison’s antenatal classes and can highly recommend them to all expectant parents. Alison has a vast knowledge, her classes teach you so much more than reading a book ever could and she has a great way of teaching even the most serious of topics with honesty and humour. Her passion for what she does is very evident and her attention to detail in making everyone feel comfortable and welcome is lovely, not to mention the amazing homemade cake each week. Booking her classes is definitely a great investment for both you and your baby.

Nothing is too much trouble
My partner and I were lucky enough to secure one of the slots on Alison’s Little Seeds Antenatal Course in March. I am not sure where to begin with how beneficial this was to both of us. From the outset we were made to feel at ease. From the initial contact to the welcome on night one, Alison made us feel valued and relaxed. Her knowledge is exemplary and so too is her care, kindness and compassion. Her course takes you slowly step-by-step through all that you could possibly need to know in preparation for those tiny feet. Alison’s wealth of experience and expertise means that no stone is left unturned. We would have been lost without her guidance both pre and post natal. No book could possibly begin to deliver what Alison manages to cover during the 4 week course. You will not be disappointed if you sign up, (and are lucky enough to gain a place on one of Alison’s courses). A truly remarkable midwife who has been such a wonderful support and who has an infectious passion for life and what she does. Don’t delay, sign up today!

You couldn't be in better hands!
I was fortunate enough to have Alison care for me in my second pregnancy. She is a FANTASTIC, caring and knowlwedgable midwife, who is not only one of the kindest, sweetest people you could ever meet, she happens to make the most amazing cakes too!!A truly inspiring lady!!
Alison is truly amazing!
I am so very fortunate to have had Alison as my Community Midwife; she is so warm, knowledgable, caring and treats each of her families with special treatment. Every mother in each of my groups (two children with her) adored her and we all still reminisce about her care and support. She prepared us emotionally and physically and her after care was above and beyond. I couldn’t rate her more highly, she is a god-send.
Attended antenatal classes with Alison with my first son. She gave me the confidence and support to have a stress free birth. I’m still friends with some of the other Mums I met. I highly recommend! I was also lucky enough to have Alison as my community midwife for all 3 of my kids. She’s a truly amazing lady.
Can't recommend Alison enough!
Alison was my community midwife in my first pregnancy and her antenatal classes prepared us all so well for what was to come. I met my best Mummy friends there and her infinite wisdom and support (and wonderful cakes!) were invaluable. Alison was the most amazing midwife and I felt 100% confident in her care from the off and I really missed her during my second pregnancy. Sue was and is a real breastfeeding pro and provided great advice and support when I was struggling. I would jump at the opportunity to attend these classes if I was going to have another baby!
Fantastic Antenatal Classes
When I was pregnant with my little boy, Alison was my community midwife. I was lucky enough to be able to attend her fantastic antenatal classes. Alison is not only the kindest person I’ve met but also an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced midwife. Her classes taught me so much and I also met a wonderful group of mummy friends. These friends are now some of my closest friends and have helped me so much since having my little boy. Alison’s wealth of knowledge, kindness and warmth were so important to me during and after a difficult pregnancy. She is a truly wonderful person. I can not recommend her classes more highly. She also makes the best cakes ever! Having my little boy was a truly wonderful experience made ten times better from having Alison’s support.
Lovely, knowledgable lady
I moved to the area at 37 weeks pregnant and Alison welcomed me with tea and flapjacks. Two babies later I can highly recommend her classes! Alison is wonderful and her classes will be worth every penny. Good luck new mummies! xx
